Whole Black Peppercorns
On a visit to a local bazaar on the outskirts of Durban, South Africa, Mr. Paulson happened upon a burlap sack of rich whole black peppercorns. They had recently been imported by ship from Malaysia. The bouquet captivated him with its aromatic qualities. After buying a satchel, Mr. Paulson carefully studied this variety versus the other 26 samples he had collected across the continent. This peppercorn was denser and contained more oil than the others. After grinding and tasting it, Mr. Paulson was convinced... it is one of the worlds best peppers.
